The March Begins…

It has been called the “Road to the Final Four”, this year it has been dubbed the “March to the Arch”. Whatever you like to call it, the Madness beings Thursday, March 17th and I will be there in person to see it.
With a little luck and some quick planning we (Kenny, Teddddd, Linney and myself) were able to get all session tickets for Indianapolis. I was going to blog about this about a month ago when we purchased the tickets, but for fear of jinxing the team I decided to hold off. We ended up with some pretty decent seats in Section 135, Row K.
We were also able to score hotel rooms in downtown Indy for the entire weekend. I am so excited about this little mini-vacation I have barely been able to focus all week.
We head out Thursday morning from CU and get to see handful of games which include teams like Kentucky, Texas, Iowa, Cincinnati and, of course, the boys in Orange, our beloved Illini.
Friday will be filled with more basketball watching at some sports bar in downtown Indy and then back to the RCA Dome for 2nd round games on Saturday.
All told, we will watch roughly 20 hours of basketball over the coming days…man I love college hoops!
I hope to be able to do a few updates directly from Indy. Look for those in the coming days.
